Melbourne based music artist, M i l l i n g t o n, returns from his 'walkabout' with his stunning new single, 'SOUL'. It connects, resonates and will leave your senses buzzing.


"Over the last 2 years I've been developing the music alongside my personal growth and 'S O U L' represents the beginning of that journey. All in preparation for my debut album which will commence production in Melbourne, 2021, with producer Joe Hammond."


In 2019, M i l l i n g t o n, supported the Pierce Brothers on their European tour and was embraced by audiences in France, German, Netherlands, Belgium and Czech Republic. Using a live production set up for the first time he used a sequences of live loops, samples and backing beats to create his sonic soundscape.


The new single, 'S O U L', will give the listener a sense of where the music is heading whilst demonstrating M i l l i n g t o n ' s abilities as a multi - instrumentalist, songwriter and producer as well as his capability to create, expand and evolve as an artist.


"Soul was written at a time when I felt my most broken through trauma, grief, depression, addiction... its about falling apart and putting yourself back together. Mental health is very important to me. I see how it affects us, we all share it, it bonds us in that way. I'm always mindful when creating so the music uplifts the listener and has an embedded sense of healing.


S O U L will be released and available on all platforms on #worldmentalhealthday Saturday 10th October 2020.
